The brand logo was designed to be featured in the RTA Speedbuilding mockumentary as the official name of the (fake) biannual competition gathering the top world’s athlets building bookshelves, kitchen units… As a (still fake) major event, it needed a strong visual identity to print viewers retina and stay in people’s minds. In the movie's lore, RTASWC stands for Ready-to-Assemble Speedbuilding World Cup.
Anyone trying to beat the stopwatch while assembling a piece of furniture is a speedbuilder. Submitting its time on rta.speed.builders makes her/him officially part of the community.
